Horsemanship Classes
Our classes give individuals the opportunity to immerse themselves in barn life. Come spend time at the barn and learn how horses communicate, what they eat and where they live. Participants will learn how to feed, wash, groom and lead their horses. Classes also include equine inspired art and photography projects as well as games and activities with our horses. Classes are offered in packages of 10 and we run all year round.
Pricing: Private classes: 30 minutes - $130 / 60 minutes - $250
Group classes: 30 minutes - $100 / 60 minutes - $200

About Us
Heather Meyer holds certification as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning through PATH International and is a YT-200 certified Yoga Instructor. Heather has over 30 years experience working with children and adults in a variety of educational settings. Here at the barn, our focus is to ensure that each and every participant has a safe and rewarding experience and walks away with a better understanding of what we can learn from our equine partners. In addition to individual and small group classes, STABLE has successfully partnered with schools and other organizations in the community to run educational classes. Our classes run year-round for both individual and groups and we are conveniently located at Riverdale Stables in the Bronx and Twin Lakes Stables in Eastchester.
